Scratchpad
The Scratchpad is a personal sticky-notes list on your project Overview. It is private to you, always editable, and saves when you leave a note (blur). There is no separate Scratchpad page and no calendar rotation.
Now and Later
Notes live in two manual buckets:
- Now — what you are holding for current work
- Later — things you are parking for next time
Nothing moves at midnight. When you are ready, use Promote Later → Now to move parked notes into Now, or drag a single note across the divider.
Working with notes
- Each note is a multi-line plain-text row that grows with its content
- Type in the blank starter row at the bottom of a bucket; a new blank appears after you save
- Optional color labels use the same palette as session flags (private meaning — no words)
- Drag the grip handle to reorder within a bucket or move between Now and Later
- Hover a note for color and trash controls
- Empty notes are pruned automatically; deleting the last note leaves a blank starter
What it is not
- Not a diary or journal archive — temporary working memory only
- Not shared with teammates
- Not date-keyed (there is no Today/Tomorrow calendar split)
Personal notes no longer appear in the Journal. Journal is for the project’s shared activity pulse.
